can't seem to get anywhere trying to download Wild Metal - just a "Page not Found" message....

servers too busy?
 
I'm sorry but this is old news, Rockstar has had these available on their site for quite some time now. Good for people who didn't already know though.

it's kinda silyl and makes urself dizzy.. the colors are a little meshed, but hey, it was my favorite game and I've always wanted it to be in 3D, well, wish granted now

and yeah. when the cars are about to blow up in GTA1 and 2.. it makes a funny clicking noise when u drive ithahaha, just so people play it and wonder what that noise is

Actually, if you had a 3dfx Voodoo/Voodoo2 PCI add-on card, GTA definitely did support 3D even back in the day, IIRC...

Good find by OP, btw... I was aware that GTA was re-released for free, but I didn't know they had also put up GTA2 for free. Definitely still worth playing for those who asked, I keep the free GTA on my laptop for in-between time (airports, trips, etc). 🙂

 
For those that think it is an old news. It is not! GTA has been released for quite a while, but GTA2 was released just recently, so it is a big news 🙂

seriously tho, anyone have torrents of this because I submit the form and it just says "Cannot find server" damn it I want my free game!!!

GTA2 = definately

EDIT: actually i was thinking of GTA3, not sure abotu 1 and 2 never played them. I beleive they are not 3d just overhead views
 
They said they only fixed some issues that had to do with CPU speed I guess... it would be nice to get them to P2P the file, but nooo... RIAA & MPAA got everyone running for the hills!

Ditto. I never bought GTA when it first came out, but after downloading it after they made it available for free, I had a blast! Thanks OP, I'm sure I'll enjoy GTA2 too.

PS. For anyone experiencing "lagging" while playing the first free GTA game - try lowering your sound card's HW-acceleration settings a notch (one notch below the top). Strange but true, it made my severe lag issues mostly go away. (Running an XP2000+ with onboard ALC650 sound.)
