well, I went to see my cousin and his girl graduate. Problem is I couldn;t get in to the main gym. It seems that HS graduations are ALWAYS a mess. Basically, I was turned away, and told to go to the schools auditorium...to WATCH IT ON A FVKING SCREEN:| Not a big deal, but pretty damn disappointing.
Talk about half-assed thinking on the part of the school I basically had to stand for two hours and when they called his name, cheering was pointless I never even got to see him until WAY after. ). Even worse was the fact that women and child ren had to stand too

Honestly, I am making a big deal out of nothing, and accept it. I really wasn't peeved at all except for the headache of having to stand for two hours in a ridiculously crowded room and not even getting to congradulate my cousin until almsot 2 hours after it was over. I kept on telling myself that it was worth it.....until I began to run into the parents of seniors. YEs.....PARENTS OF THOSE GRADUATING.
I am serious. I must have seen a dozen parents and a BUNCH of family members that had tickets to get into the main auditorium where the "action" and were not let in due to overcrowding.
My "2 hour stand" was not exactly "pleasurable" but damn....keeping your PARENTS out of your fvking graduation..that is just inexcusable. C'mon, ruin the one day that the parents have to reap the rewards of their childs abilities and their own parental skills.
Sad thing is, my HS graduation 3 years ago wasn;t much better....
Is ther some secret ploy to totally RUIN graduations for a percentage of families?!
