and this comes to surprise how? (#1)

Who said it would be a surprise?

I didn't know Curt Schilling was hated...by Yankee fans i guess? 😛

i believe the article based this on other players perceptions of the athlete. e.g mickelson is popular among the fans but the other athletes hate him.

Pierzynski, crouched behind the plate, took a pitch to the groin. Rushing to his aid, trainer Stan Conte asked him how he felt. ?Like this!? Pierzynski grunted, then savagely kneed Conte in the balls.

Yeah, I read this in my issue of GQ a couple of weeks ago. This one really got me:
A. J. Pierzynski

The most telling of the many, many (seriously, you wouldn?t believe how willing people were to talk about this guy) Pierzynski anecdotes we heard took place during spring training in 2004. Pierzynski, crouched behind the plate, took a pitch to the groin. Rushing to his aid, trainer Stan Conte asked him how he felt. ?Like this!? Pierzynski grunted, then savagely kneed Conte in the balls.

SONOFABITCH!:Q:Q

AJ P is an OK catcher, who is a little too big for his britches.

Arod def. belongs there

Jon Rocker would be on this list, if this were 1999.

That's hilarious. I'd be very careful asking that guy questions.

Where's John Rocker?
Damn, if that's who I think it is, isn't he old news? (old Braves closer, right?) Haven't heard that name in a LONG time.

he's still an ass but he plays for the minor leagues now

Yea..he played briefly for the Long Island Ducks last season. He was just awful and of course being in close proximity to NYC he was hounded by the fans and media.

If you're a Canadian basketball fan ... Vince Carter & Steve Francis come up near the top of my list :|
