Gps- When will 5" have more resolution than the 4.3" models?

Have you looked into any other GPS apps for north america?

Garmin doesn't have a GPS app on Android. They have one on iOS though that they released late last year.
Neither does TomTom.

Navigon is the only major one available on Android, and it costs $50 and is a PoS. You might as well buy a standalone GPS with that $50.

Sygic: Free for 7 days, after that pay $40. That's the same price as a standalone GPS unit that does what I'm looking for.

TeleNav exists, but I'm not looking for a GPS app with monthly subscription fees of $5-10/month.
