Excellent post, You owned him good
People have to realize that government is much more selfish and greedy than the private sector.
If you think I owned him you missed the point. Only trying to put it in perspective.

Alot of good responses here, most people seem to have my opinion, makes me wonder who exactly voted the food stamp guy back in.

Government funded abortion would fix all that. Now just who made that illegal? Cm'on make a guess!
Agreed, but right now so many states are implementing laws making it impossible for services like PP and others, to provide abortion or birth control, some clinics have been shut down by "trap laws". What I dont understand is instead of people just giving her things, why someone wouldn't help her get job training or schooling, and help her to get a job. The sad thing is she won't be able to keep all her children if she cant provide for them and CPS will take them to foster care eventually, and then the state will be burdened with long term care for those kids which will be more costly. I love how that news blip did such a wonderful job of editing to make her look like the stereotypical welfare minority.
How do you know she wasnt talking about herself when she made that comment?

There wasn't much content in that piece.
On the plus side for liberals I think she made the case for legalised late-term abortion![]()
how late term? would it be too late to abort the mother?
I think there was a thread or two about this woman and the kids before. I will see if I can find it.
I agree with this but it would take honesty and a lack of greed from the government to really make this not necessary, and sadly those are the two traits in the shortest supply in government.
Well when you tax people who work and pay people who don't work, why are we shocked to see stories like this?
Someone always pulls some extreme example out of a hat to make their point.
I dont know about this lady, but what I do know is that if companies paid employees a decent wage, the same people would not need food stamps, rent assistance and all the other stuff.
The reason so many need assistance has nothing to do with greed of the poor.
The minimum wage for, say, food service worker should be starting at 11 dollars an hour. And more if any person is hired at full time status 40 hours a week.
Bottom line, no worker in this country should be making less than 11 - 12 an hour, regardless.
There is no way no how anyone can tell me a company must pay less to survive.
If that were the case, let the company not survive.
Everyone knows well that McDonalds Inc, Toco Bell Inc, Wendys Inc, Walmart Inc and all the others would do just fine profit wise after paying a decent living wage. And that wage of at least 11 dollars an hour. Period.
After all... Lincoln DID free the slaves. Its about time American companies do the same.
