Gov. Chris Christie in hot water over Bridge Scandal

You think that's funny?! You should have watched megyn Kelly's response to this. She was talking about it and sounded all non partisan on the issue and was talking to her guests when she paused and stumbled over her words as if she was trying to figure out how to change the conversation, when she managed to says the words, "Hillary Clinton", and "Benghazi".

It was so ackward and funny!

I'm not surprised. Dirty tricks are standard operating procedure for Republicans. Nixon, Karl Rove, Lee Atwater, Spiro Agnew, Bush, Reagan, Schwarzenegger-all crooks.

Linkage?

If only the attack at Benghazi was investigated this thoroughly.
Or Obamacare. Imagine if the press had torn into Obamacare in depth. When there is a Republican involved, the press is very, very interested. Remember them poring over the Palin emails in a frenzy?

Meanwhile, Obama knows nothing about anything that is happening on his watch and he gets a big thumbs up and a sloppy wet kiss from the media.

Paul Fishman, the current US attorney for the District of New Jersey, announced that he was looking into whether the closure of lanes leading to the George Washington Bridge violated any federal laws. The matter had been referred to him by the inspector general of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the agency that runs the bridge.

Christie must resign. That has now become crystal clear.
Today's release of more documents, more than 2000, plainly exposes an all out conspiracy involving the entire Christie staff. If you are unaware what has happened as of today's release, again I suggest watching or podcasting Rachael Maddow 1/10. Rachael actually broke this story originally months ago.
Now main stream news, and an actual full scale Nixonesk like scandal in the highest form.
Did Christie know? Obviously absolutely yes.
Was he personally involved on the highest level? Again, blaintly positively yes he was.
Did Christie originate this plan to disrupt NJ citizens? Chrystal clear he did exactly that.
Is this typical of Chris Christie means of operation? Absolutely yes. Proven typical.
Must he now resign? Clearly yes, he must.
Will he?
Doubtful, considering Richard Nixon also had to be dragged from office kicking and screaming.
Twist twist twist slowly in the wind governor.

For someone that would personally and so uncaringly use their powers to compose and exact such a devious plan to so disrupt citizens of his own state of NJ, why would anyone believe he would suddenly give the citizens relief by now doing the right thing?
Resigning....

This is typical Chris Christie in action.
Deliberate Chris Christie.
This behavior has been ongoing as business as usual during Christie's entire leadership.
No one, NO ONE, should doubt not only his involvement, but his history of such undertakings as governor throughout his entire elected term.
In this country as Americans, we do not tolerate any politician believing him or her self to be above the law.

I am curious as to whether or not the State of New Jersey or individual members of Christie's administration could be subject to civil liability from affected travellers.

Look at this liberal outrage when a republican does something nowhere near as outrageous as all of Obama's scandals & lies. This is proof positive of the mental disorder that is liberalism. If you weren't so dishonest, you would have been calling for Obama's removal long ago. So.....you take one allegation against Christie and you've already held court and to you it's "off with his head". Might I suggest you start calling for the same for the ultra corrupt, like the president you so worship? You really are a disingenuous fucktard!

Actually all the proof you think is so obvious is simply your opinion and the fact that you can't see that is evidence that the mental disorder if one exists, is your own. You have to logically prove things to others to have credibility, not just assure us they are logical. If you do so folk won't be able to say it's you're nuts. We'll, they can say it, but you will have made a case intelligent people will see.

Actually, none of the documents prove that Christie ordered this or was in the loop. It's a reasonable inference from the fact that several of his top aides were involved, but there is no conclusive proof.

People, people; All this is is the Dems kneecapping the opposition by digging up dirt/mudslinging.
I saw them do it to Herman Cain last election; They probably sent him pictures of his
grandkids @ recess.

Voters Shocked Christie Botched Such An Easy Political Cover-Up

WASHINGTON—Following revelations this week that staffers under New Jersey Governor Chris Christie manipulated traffic in a small New Jersey town to punish its mayor, mortified Americans across the nation reported that they were shocked to learn the potential 2016 presidential candidate could possibly fumble such an easy political cover-up.

“Man, this guy wants to be President of the United States and he can’t even conceal an act of corruption this rinky-dink and run-of-the-mill from voters? It’s crazy,” Newark resident Carolyn Baum said in agreement with millions of stunned Americans, adding that she holds potential presidential candidates to much higher standards of subterfuge and graft. “I mean, this is a total softball. If he can’t even bully one little small-town mayor into submission by oppressing his constituents and get away with it, how can we reasonably believe he’s politically skilled enough to cover up national scandals like orchestrating a foreign war, illegally colluding with big business, or violating the civil liberties of millions of Americans? It’s a little scary, to be honest.”

At press time, many Americans reported their faith in Christie’s presidential qualifications was somewhat restored after he released a series of statements pinning the blame on others and throwing top aides under the bus.

I read through some of the document dump from Friday. His Press Secretary should be fired ASAP also.

It's pretty clear none of the mid level PA people wanted to cross the NJ appointees even though they had deep reservations about the "study". The NJ guys went totally nuts when Patrick Foye called them on their bullshit. It is amusing to see the silence and attempts to stonewall the media grow as letters from local Congress members and press/FOIA requests started to pile up.
