Wait, I thought you all left your doors unlocked there, and sang show tunes every weekend. Has Michael Moore been lying to me, and Canada sucks just as much as any densely populated place?
 
The part that actually hurts the most is when they test the blood for iron, there is this tool that basically takes a chunk of skin from the finger then a bit of blood squirts out and they test it. Nothing excruciating, but definitely can feel it. The actual needle hurts less.

I hate that. I wish they could stab you in a random area on your arm, leg, ass, anything.

I'm going to donate blood myself this afternoon. Recently passed the five gallon level, which isn't bad considering I was over 50 before I started donating.

Techs have been trained to verify who the donor is before sticking

The noobs get frustrated and then embarrassed as I lay it out for them.

The techs that know me will stand back and smile for the entertainment.

Helps brighten up their day.
