Don’t get me wrong...I’d never leave CO and purposefully move to St. Louis, but there are some nice things about it. There are also TERRIBLE parts (north St. Louis, East St. Louis). I totally agree that the city does feel old/complacent. I recently read an article that St. Louis should be picked by Amazon for HQ2 as a sort of corporate charity move. That is not the endorsement I would want to be getting. Oh, and the food is pretty bland. Has probably gotten better in the last few years...but bland for sure.

Hah. Yeah, I've heard that argument about corporate charity. It's not a terrible place, it just lacks charm. Maybe I'm a snob, but unless there are mountains and/or the ocean, I'm not that interested in an area.

Attention OP, one of these things does not belong.

Just wanted to bring that to your attention. Carry on.

Are you referring to my old vid card? I don't have a need to upgrade it at the moment since I mostly play FSX and BF2 with the AIX mod. One day when I'm not lazy I will install a GTX 1060 and I should upgrade the PSU at the same time. It's just a PITA because I have to pull out all of the nice cabling that I did when I first built the computer. The only real reason to why I would even upgrade the GPU would be to play GTA V since I've played almost every GTA to date.

John Connor, what makes you believe this is a result of global warming?

I'm not implying it is. I'm implying in a tongue in cheek way that because it's snowing and cold there is no global warming, climate change, whatever the word du jour is. I mean, I've see magazines from the 70's talk about a new ice age. Now it's about global warming. Mean while countless data has been manipulated (remember climate gate?) Antarctic is gaining ice and here in the U.S. we have some of the strictest pollution controls there are. Mean while China and India are free to pollute and we need to curb our carbon footprint? Then you have these climate hustlers like Al Gore who push this crap, have several houses, etc and make millions. I bet their carbon foot print is a hell of a lot bigger than mine or yours.

I could go on and on. But I think it's safe to say that "global warming/climate change" has evolved into a religion. And if you don't believe in this religion you are an outcast or something. Since when do I have to conform to your beliefs? Sounds an awful like Communism or some other totalitarian political ideology.

If this "global warming/climate change" was such a big deal, why didn't Obama mandate all of the USPS use natural gas powered hybrids?

and that was faked. Why do you continue to believe something that was intentionally faked to mislead you? If it is shown to be an abject lie, why continue to believe an obvious, proven falsehood? What purpose does it serve you to believe in something that is obviously false, especially if you claim to want to know the truth?

Oh right, JC has blocked me. Part of the extension of his desire to remain blissfully uninformed. Perhaps if more people continue to point out the uncomfortable truths that he refuses to accept.

There are many opinions on global warming across the entire political spectrum. There are many people out there that would disagree with your stance on it being man made. The politically funded scientific community aligns with your beliefs. They would rather fabricate these lies for their own gain. You willingly believe them despite the alternative facts that exist explaining this to be the natural course of the planet. What drives you to be so adamant about global warming being man made?

Blocking people is the ultimate show of weakness. I think they should remove the feature. If someone is crossing the line they will be banned. Otherwise buck the fuck up and stop being a little wus.

There are a lot of really trolly posters here though. There's enough stupid nonsense in the rest of my life, if I can block the really stupid crap here, I consider it a benefit.
