Got rejected from Walmart

Man--I'm sorry to hear about the jobless situations. I didn't know the economy was so screwed up, guess I was distracted by other news. :frown:

My father just got laid off. He's close to retirement and wasn't counting on a pension anyway, so it's not too bad. Still, he has to find something to fill his time now and compete with the young, fresh out of school candidates who don't get paid as much as him. Apparently, neither experienced workers or new job seekers are having ANY luck . . .

I'm sure things will turn around, but question is how long? After 2004?

Come by the front of the store I work at - a month ago, we had a whole lawn setup right in front of the magazines. And back at electronics, there's easy chairs and sofa's set up near a TV display, which plays DVD's all day.

I don't think there is a code 3...you'd prolly just get looked at weird.

Don't be ranking on Walmart when they are the #1 revenue generator in our world today. He said management-type, not a grunt (meant in the best way possible) on the floor... it's not always about the people on the floor.
