1) yes

2) Thoroughbred B

3) Thermalright SLK-800 w/80mm fan (at least 30cfm for decent o/cing) or Swiftech MCX-462+ if you like mounting hardware

or the Thermalright SLK-900:D.But you'll need the 4 mobo mounting holes. You can try Thermaltake's Volcano 11.But i doubt it will be better than the SLK-900(or maybe the 800),but it doesn't need the 4 mounting holes

Hey GIStech, assuming your handle means what I think it means, it is good to see another GISc person (probably many more given the number of members). I worked for several years as a GIS analyst and then ended up managing a GIS lab for awhile. I continue to rely on GIS and RS tools almost daily, but now I'm focused back on my ecology research nterests.

How's your TbredB running for you? Mine was rocking until the PSU died (at least that's the current working hypothesis). I'm new to this build it from the ground up and OCing stuff. Ton 'O fun when the system run...

Hi guys,

Am I correct to say that if the chip ID (??) ends with DUT3C, it *should* be a TBred B?

Many of the 2003 week 1 and 2 chips are doing 2500mhz with 1.85 volts. Should do at least 2600+ speeds at default voltage.

hey guys,
what should my cpu bus speed be for this chip?
ive built older systems but the DDR and stuff kind of passed me by.
okay, i have pc2700 RAM, which i run @ 166mhz*2(that is what DDR does, correct?) that gives me the 333 right?
what about cpu bus, i did have the RAM @ 166 and the cpu @ 133, but then i lowered the multiplier and raised the cpu bus to 166
is this going to damage anything? its roughly the same clock speed as before and its stable, its ran DF all night and not crashed once.
so basically what im asking is...
with my RAM and my Tbred B what should my multiplier and bus speed be?
im not really that interested in OCing @ this point, im happy with the increase in speed ive already gained.
thanks
