running out space in here! wife still pumping hard too!

lol baby is eating strictly breast milk. he's never eaten anything else. we don't even have formula in the house. he's eating ever 2-3 hours.

I didn't know you could freeze milk. Does it retain its properties?

Also why are you freezing all that milk? The wife's going back to work?

This actually makes sense but those photos still make me lol, I had never heard about industrial-scale breast pumping before.

You know the milk is made according to the babies needs at the time? She should be pumping when she goes back to work and just using fresh bags...a few in the freezer is fine, but 😵

How the hell are you building up that much of a deserve while the baby is nursing? The baby should be consuming all of that...

Also, the bags don't handle freezing well. Guarantee you'll have some leakers put of that bunch.

yeah i'm a bit disappointed with no pics requests. you guys are slacking.

she is going back to work in october, so we're just freezing it so when she goes back or just can't produce, we'll have a stockpile of it.

and yes, freezing it is fine for up to like 6 months or something like that. we have all the bags labeled by date.

and yeah, some of them haev definitely leaked, but its cause they expanded. that was early on then we fixed the problem, told my wife to not fill them up so much.

Do you thaw one and feed the baby, or does the baby breast feed?

If the baby still breast feeds, holy shit!

baby never really latched on so we've been bottle feeding since like 3 days after birth. she's still pumping and we're just filling bottles and putting the rest in the freezer.

there are about 160 - 170 bags in the freezer right now. we have a few in the fridge too that we use in case my wife has some drinks and has to dump a pump.
