I just graduated college and got a job, but have nothing to buy. My laptop is the only computer I need. I don't like cars, don't watch TV, don't like cell phones, don't like dating or going out. I go kayaking and running a lot, but my shoes and kayak are holding out.

It seems ridiculous that all the money besides food and housing will be going towards retirement.

got job. wtf do I use the money for?

There are a bunch of hobbies that can suck up funds impressively - try collecting something.

Invest silly! Make that bit of extra money a fvckload of extra money over the course of your time at whatever job you're talking about.

There really is nothing wrong with just saving/investing the extra. You'll be in a nice, secure position much earlier than usual, maybe even able to retire/choose a job purely on how much you like it much earlier than otherwise.

You could also start being philanthropic, if that strikes your fancy. Plenty of causes out there that you'll probably like.

I got an email about an investment opportunity in Nigeria this morning, you can try investing your money.

take up flying or boating, and your worries are over:)
Better yet, get a float plane and kill two fortunes with one hobby;)

Give it a little of time, before you know it you will be wondering where your money is going.
