Locally a man was decapitated not to long ago when a 20x30", 1/4" thick peice of sheet metal fell off a truck and went through his window, and they never actually found the truck.

you have a car,and you do not have Full glass coverage?
it costs me like an extra $11 a year per vehicle.
check with Diamond/Triumph auto glass they are reasonable.
I bought a new winshield early this year, and it was like $200 installed, for my 40 year old car.
I paid for it myself, the windshield was just scratched bad.
If you pay $11 a year "per vehicle" then I can only assume you have 2 cars. Thus you pay $22 a year for glass coverage, which means you must stastically think you'll need more than 1 windshield every 9 years to break even?? (assuming your windshield only costs $200)
Sounds like you might want to think about that $11 a year...
PS: In Florida, I _think_ the state mandates that all insurance companies give you windshield coverage with a $0 deductable... but making claims against it can in theory cost you in the long run.
