IIRC you can check rehire eligibility in WA too. You can't ask why, but you can ask if.

Quite frankly that does not make any sense. If they were dissapointed with your performance they wouldn't have given you a raise in the first place. Me thinks they couldn't afford you.

They canned 75% of us today in engineering.

We get 6 weeks severance and all our PTO plus we get to work 2 more weeks.


It could have been worse.

Oh well, there's always Wal -Mart.
Soon, we'll all be in retail selling goods to each other, goods that are made in some other country, and anything technical, will be done by "imported" labor.
