Congrats on being able to go back to work... But having to move to Mobile AL would suck donkey ass.
What's wrong with Mobile? It's actually doing very well and it's in a nice location.
Well, it's in Alabama for a start.

Have you ever been? I know that people from the north like to think that the south is nothing but unpaved roads and racism, but Mobile is nice and so is Huntsville. I'd rather live in Huntsville, but I wouldn't turn down a job just because it was in Mobile.
As for where to live, my cousin seems to like Theodore.

After 7 months of no job got called back to my old employer. Got my full time with all benifits etc back. Only thing is I have to move to Mobile AL. Oh well just glad to be working again!
What company is it with Thyssenkrupp?
I live near Gulf Shores (halfway between GS and Mobile) but commute to Mobile everyday. Give us a better location and we'll find an apartment for you

It's funny what people think of the south. I'd much rather live almost anywhere in the south than in the north. I've lived in several states in both areas.

Holy crap. I live in Baldwin County. Loxley to be exact. I work at the nursery at the intersection of I-10 and Hwy 59. I'm not a regular here but maybe we can all hang out on the river sometime! I have an uncle with property on both Styx River and Fish River. 25 y/o, married with an 11 month old son.

Wow, I had no idea that there were so many AT'ers in Mobile. I'm from there myself, although I currently reside in Tuscaloosa (for work). We really need a Gulf Coast AT meet sometime.
Oh, OP, where in Mobile will you be working (again)?

Well if your info is right, moving Orlando to Mobile, at least you're closer to the shore. And to be honest, Southern Alabama & Northern/parts of Central Florida aren't really that different in terms of the people around ya.
