I got pulled over and did the usual routine of 'license and registration'

Throughout this event, the cop did two things:

When I asked his permission to say something, he said: NO.
Then he said, "And Do Not appeal this ticket! Because I Will be there."

In what position can he tell me that? And I Am going to appeal because he also wrote me up some stupid things I know I did Not do: failure to use signal while changing lanes"

I didn't even change any lanes when I was driving...

How the hell do you know the cop is an asshat? Simply based off of what some dumbass says after being pulled over?

You didn't even change lanes? You mean he just BSed the charges? Dispute that, it's worth it on principle alone.

Well first of all the cop was pretty rude, so he seems to be giving the ticket out of annoyance or anger. And I suppose I can ASSUME that LOLyourFace is telling the truth.

see my recent post in the should we give cops free coffe to cops thread
the cops in the US have a superiority conplex...they think being a cop and having a gun makes them GOD
ususally they are dumb mofos
of course i dont want to completly generalize becasue some of them do a great job in serving and protecting us
but well my thought is still not great about cops
I think one day I will tell one like this one to STFU even if it involves a night in jail

1) He doesn't have to let you defend yourself, that's a job for the judge. He's just there to write tickets.
2) There is no official weight behind that, do what you want.

What's up with people being so goddamn sensitive these days?

Well given that the guy did not change lanes and the cop said he did on the ticket, I think neutralizer's assessment of the cop is fair.

Right because we all know anyone busted by the law always accurately depicts exactly what happened.

lol, what's it there to lie about to you ATOT people? I want to accurately depict what happened so I can get some input from You guys,
rolleye.gif

1. I was speeding (i know stupid of me, but it was 5am and I wanted to go home asap)
1. a cop pulls me over
2. asks for my license and registration
4. I hand it to him in a organized fashion
5. He asks me if I had been drinking, while purposely flashing his flashing light into my freaking eyes
6. He goes away
7. Comes back, and says, "there's no excuse for you for speeding"
8. Then I ask, "Can I tell you something sir?"
9. He says, "NO"
10. "And DO NOT APPEAL this ticket, because I WILL BE THERE"
11. Takes off.

But LOLyourFace doesn't have a reason to lie to US.

Well given that the guy did not change lanes and the cop said he did on the ticket, I think neutralizer's assessment of the cop is fair.

Sure assuming he did not change lanes at all during the trip seeing as to how he has no idea how long the cop may have been trailing him.

If the cop was trailing him for that long, the cop must have already painted him as a target and watched him carefully for any mistake he made.

What's the problem with that? He was on the road at 5am speeding because he wanted to get home.

I'm sure there were other people there breaking the law at 5 AM that the cop didn't care about. It almost seems like the cop was a bad mood and decided to single LOLyourFace out.

Maybe you shouldnt be speeding in the first place, IF the cop is lying about changing lanes then go to court for that. Have fun, the judges are usually dicks from what i hear.

Perhaps it was LOLyourFace's driving style that caused this. Who knows how fast he was going, if he was able to drive in a straight line, etc.

I got a ticket yesterday. I wasn't paying attention and I guess I was speeding going downhill..

He ticketed me for 51 at 35..

Ticket was $76..

I thought it was going to be whole lot more.. but he broke it down for me.. $60 fine and $1 for every mile over the speedlimit..
