Make a solution of iodized salt, water, vinegar, and baking soda. It may foam up, but that should do the trick.

Also, I'm keeping an inventory of ATOT's feet, so pics please.
 
My Understanding is that pepper spray is most effective as a gargle, to help break up a sore throat. It also helps if you get something in your eye, you can use it as an eye wash. Be careful though, as it might sting a little bit.
