Just picked her up about two weeks ago. She's a 1990 with 31,100 miles with the V12 engine.

She drives like a dream and turns a lot of heads. I  her and so does my g/f.

Someday, if/when it becomes cost prohibitive to continue fixing Jag parts, I'm going to do a smallblock Chevy conversion, but until then, I'll keep it like that.

Fun cruiser! My brother-in-law was given one of those in black for free about three years ago. It's just a matter of time, but nothing has gone wrong yet...

Does it leak oil or any other fluids? Because I haven't seen a Jag that didn't...not one that hadn't been rebuilt recently anyway.

Ooh, nice ride  Always loved those. I considered getting one when I was looking at cars a few years ago.

That car has similar wheels to my Trans Am...they are a bitch to clean properly.

Did you take that picture after the car died on the way home?

oh snap!
nice looking car though.
how much would a small block conversion cost? Or are you going to do the labor yourself?

I'd do the labor myself so whatever the engine, tranny and misc parts cost.

I hate to be a Debby Downer but that $3K you have set aside for repairs will not last you very long at all. They are sexy but also some of the least reliable cars EVER made.

Trust me, I know. I did a lot of research on their problems before I bought it. Honestly, as the money increases, I'll probably just put it toward the conversion. With me doing labor, it won't be as bad.

She doesn't leak at all yet. Who knows, by the time I get to her in the morning, she may have started. :D
