Just picked her up about two weeks ago. She's a 1990 with 31,100 miles with the V12 engine.

She drives like a dream and turns a lot of heads. I  her and so does my g/f.

Someday, if/when it becomes cost prohibitive to continue fixing Jag parts, I'm going to do a smallblock Chevy conversion, but until then, I'll keep it like that.

Wow, nice. Really low miles. I've already got more than that and my car is a 2008 model.

Neat car. Great location for the pic. I love those Cypress trees down in Monterey.

lol...yeah, my friend owned one also. I only payed $4000 for it and have $3000 set aside for problems. When it breaks down, I'll decide what to do, put that money toward the new engine or just spend it.

I used to work for a guy who had one a couple years older than yours. That car was in the shop every few months and it seems like it was always $2-3k they wanted to fix all the shit that was constantly going wrong with it.

Nice looking car though. Congrats!

I hate to be a Debby Downer but that $3K you have set aside for repairs will not last you very long at all. They are sexy but also some of the least reliable cars EVER made.

Cars are like women though; some of them actually are beautiful enough that the rest doesn't matter. ;)

I know there's the saying that, "no matter how beautiful she is, someone, somewhere is tired of putting up with her shit," but it's also true that, if she's beautiful enough, someone, somewhere, will not mind putting up with her shit.

how much would a small block conversion cost? Or are you going to do the labor yourself?

Fun cruiser! My brother-in-law was given one of those in black for free about three years ago. It's just a matter of time, but nothing has gone wrong yet...

I remember going into a shop that specialized in hopping up Mustangs a number of years ago when I owned my last one. I was there to get my 2.73 rear gears replaced with 3.73 gears and they had an early 90s Jaguar coupe they were putting a blown LS1 into. The car looked sick with that engine under the hood. I think it was cranking out around 500hp. Put a tasteful yet quiet exhaust on it and you'd have one hell of a sleeper.

I bet that wasn't cheap though...
