I drove the coupe when they first came out, and really liked it overall. Watch out for the dreaded 2nd-gear problem.

Actually, if you're talking of the 3rd gear problem, it's been fixed!

Congrats on the new car, OP! I've got a MT LX myself and couldn't be happier. Well, if the skinny pedal had a little more go and the gears were a bit closer...

So great move on paying the extra for the Si. Have fun!

Edit: But don't forget to keep the fun turned down for the first 600 or so miles. ;)

I love the lawn chair painted on the drivers side door!

I read it only gets 21/29 mpg AND takes 91 octane? To each his own I guess. Hope you enjoy it.

Bro-in-law just bought the Hybrid. Pretty cool car actually. Dunno if it's the same w/ yours, but the steering wheel was quite heavy (a la mercedes benz) and it kinda' felt good once the speeds get up.

Only thing I don't like is the digital speedometer glowing like an inferno........and the overly 'forward' dash/windshield area, but that's just personal, nothing to do w/ good car or not.

I'll be shopping new car soon & have narrowed my decision down to about 10 cars....... pffft ........and have NO CLUE what I'll end up with 'cuz I'm changing my mind every 5 minutes!!

Thanks guys. I really love the car. Havnt been able to drive it around much with all the bad weather here in chicago but the 89 miles on it so far have been great! I got it for 21 OTD (thats after TTL and everything). 2.9% APR honda special.

haha I cant yet for another 500 miles. I dont plan on racing so I wont be hitting vtec much. :) Gotta keep my insurance really low! It was A LOT lower than I expected it to be (390 every 6 months, full converage). So I wanna keep it like that no tickets.

Why don't you like the forward dash? Whenever you look at it you know your car is just about as aerodynamic as possible
