I still can't figure out how to get my HD6850 fully utilized... The usage seems wierd:

Using the v7 client...

Is this normal? It only works hard when it finds something to work hard on in this WU?

What core does task manager say you are using? if you are using core 11 then you can still use the environmental variables to increase the percentage used. Environmental variables don't work on core 16 wus. If you set the client type to advanced and it still doesn't fully utilize your gpu then it might be worth switching back to the regular core and using environmental variables so the gpu is fully utilized.

Hah, no, that's my weekly outputs... PPD went from ~3300 to ~10k though! I've almost broken 10k PPD average...

Just brought another computer online last night, Athlon 64x2 2.5ghz with a GT430 video card...

Not sure what's faster, a GT240 or a HD6850? I think those are my fastest crunchers...

I've been using hfm.net - google it, that doesn't work as an address 😉 - to monitor the ppd of individual clients. It's handy. My GT240 looks to be good for ~4k ppd. That GT430 should be good for almost that much as well, or more, depending on how the cards are clocked.

My 6570 is supposedly good for ~3k ppd using v7 client and fah_16 cores, I would think the 6850 would be good for nearly twice that. 480 sp @ 650 mhz vs 960 sp @ 775 mhz.
