My moms dad, 70, full head of hair. My dad 54 still has his hair. My dad's dad however went baldish when he was in his late 20's

I'm 25 I think I got the bald genes. :( I like my hair. Doesn't help that my chest and stomach is super hairy either. I look at my chest and say, "You fools grow on my head not my chest."

I hope I didn't get his cancer genes that killed him in his 40's also.

I know some people in here have it a lot worse than me though so list your Gene woes.

I got my mom's terrible sensitive skin.

Pretty much everybody in my family seems to get cancer, so I have that to look forward to.

I'm 29, going gray and my hairline is starting to move backwards.

Other than that, i'm going to die young, that's a given.

gastrointestinal ulcers. I am 24 and have 3 so far. One in the stomach, one in the duodenum, one in the lower esophagus. After trial and error, I have learned what foods trigger the ulcers when I am stressed. So far, after two years, I haven't had any perforated ulcers.

I inherited my dad's crappy teeth. I'm missing a couple in the back and they came in with some gaps (braces are a bitch though, but coming off before college - thankfully).

ditto, how bad is yours? what do you use?

Mostly the scalp. I use to get it on my elbows on and off but haven't for a long time. I used to use T-Gel, but I'm realizing that overdoing it only makes it worse.

Probably not a bad thing that I inherited it, though. I was about the join the Air Force but it disqualified me.

Where to start...

I'm 21 and 5'4". Somehow I don't think I'm getting any taller.

I may have my dad's bald gene; hair line is receding and hair is a bit lose-happy in the shower.

I have severe myopia, which is weird cause both parents are 20/20.

Well there is heart disease on both sides of my family, so I don't *know* i've inherited anything yet since I'm still alive, but since 3/4 of my grandparents died before 60 (and 1 of massive heart attack at 42) there is likely some bad gene thats gonna rear it ugly ass head before too long. In terms of things you can see now, I got my dad's complete inability to gain weight, which I know seems great to all the overweight people out there, but no matter how much I work out I cannot add muscle and am embarrassingly thin.

I have sensitive skin. Examples; I once had pityriasis rosea, a skin rash. It covered my entire body, was unbelievably itchy, and lasted for over 3 months. I also have physical urticaria. Meaning I break out in hives if I get nervous, take too hot a shower, exercise and break a sweat, get too hot, get too cold, etc...

I also have some sort of blood disorder passed on from my father that makes me something like 100 times more likely to get blood clots. My father has had 2 cases in the last year (one of which broke off and collapsed his lung), my brother has also developed clots within the last year. So for I've been lucky, but I imagine it'll only be so long before I'm in a hospital bed with a shaved leg and all sorts of needles sticking into me.
