Yep... and just Gore, having Palin as the "face" of a movement is probably a bad idea in the long run. The true believers will like it, but the general public (the ones you're trying to get to your side) will be pushed away. Palin (Tea Party) and Gore (MMGW) are very similar in that way.

I was pretty plain about sea ice extent and land ice in my previous post. I do read and link numbers of peer reviewed papers, if you would rather remain ignorant and true to your faith by not reading them that's your concern.

Yes, Arctic ice is declining, but at the same time the Antarctic is gaining.

Given the shift in the PDO and the slight beginning of a reversal (or at least a leveling off) in both trends we might see the two reverse direction. Imagine the fiasco when you drop Arctic headlines and travel to the South Pole for sensationalist ice melting.

No Palin is bigger whore in the truer sense seeing as she's capitalizing on her looks. She also quit her job as Governor because it was holding her back from really making huge money. Did I mention her reality show?

On the other hand Gore an advocate against global warning before he even had what he believed was his destiny to become president snatched out of his hands in the highly disputed election. In the course of his crusade he garnered much acclaim and let it go to his head.
