I got an iPhone 3G the other day on my contract AT&T line, and loaned my phone to my mom to play around for a few minutes on her AT&T GoPhone line, and all of the sudden she got these "no cellular data available" messages and couldn't get onto the internet with her GoPhone SIM. Looking around on the internet shows that AT&T has issued warnings and would be proactively blocking GoPhone users from using the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
But the worse thing is, they seem to have cut off ALL of her data services so she couldn't even use her old Motorola to check weather on WAP and text. The GoPhone CS is off on weekends so I guess I would have to call on Monday on their mercy to unblock the data services
