Unsurprisingly many trolls I know seem to like him.

Okay, now it's your turn to create an award-winning documentary that rakes in the dough. Yeah, that's what I thought.

They can critize M Moore all they want, the man obviously believes in himself and his ideals and isn't afraid to express himself no matter who is looking.

Maybe they can get him arrested for inciitng a riot?? LOL

How ironic is it that these brainwashed Republicans will wear those purple heart bandaids, while ignoring the fact that neither Bush nor Cheney had the balls to go to a war they both supported.

You know I'm half surprised that the Vets in this country aren't incredibly offended at the purple heart band-aid stunt. It takes some huevos grande to be that blatently offensive...

They obviously don't give a rat's a$$ about the vet's they just want to bash Kerry. I guess GWB or his canpaign didn't have anything to do qith that either? LOL

Anyone hear the comment by McCain that it was a throwaway remark and that what we meant is that we are all Americans. What a joke. First he incites the infururiated pseudo-Christian warriors and then takes it back. Errm, nice try McCain, especially after you repeat the line twice. Thumbs down.

Benito Mussolini-

And it doesn't really matter who initiates the merger, or the details- corporatists win, everybody else loses...

As for the disingenuous reference to the delusional whackjobs in Waco, DefRef, all warrants were properly, if stupidly served, and none of them was ever held w/o charge. Not that I'm a fan of the way the situation was handled, but the rule of law, and of the Constitution, was upheld.

Regarding the current lurch towards totalitarianism- To paraphrase justice Stevens, Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson and a few other notables, we cannot allow our government to use the tools of tyrants even when fighting against it. To do so is to assume that role ourselves- probably a little deep for you, DefRef, something to puzzle over... in between regurgitating far right catch phrases and jingoes...

As is the charge that my side got 3000 killed- Bush was in charge, last time I checked, and had likened pursuing Bin Laden to swatting at flies... adopting a "make my day" attitude about terrorism in general.

So far, the Republican convention has played like a tent revival- a masterful blend of fear, loathing, 9/11 and jebus, and that chant of "four more years" eerily reminiscent of the early years of the thousand year reich.
