The right wing establishment wants to turn it into something else because they are shitting their pants over Trump's popularity and message.
Establishment Republicans are obsessed with vagina, it seems.
Weren't there several Republican politicians who wanted to do sonic probes on women's vaginas prior to abortion?
Yes, playing the "war on women" card, by a woman, who had repeatedly called out liberals for using the "war on women" as a fake issue, is fair. It was a blatant a dn ham fisted hatchet job by fox to try and submit to the billionaire establishment overlords.
There is far more bullshit thst they could have called him on but they tried that to turn 50% of the country against him through damsel in distress labeling misogyny.
Had they called him on his tax policies, or hammered him on how is going to bring jobs back from china, sure, but this other bullshit?
That they are trying to defend rosy tells you something about how far they will go to try and end him. But it is backfiring.
Just to be clear: I think Trump is a childish buffoon who would be a disaster as president (similar in a lot of ways to Berlusconi in Italy). That being said, I agree that Fox was very obviously targeting him. Their very first question was designed ONLY to alienate him and him alone. The people pulling the strings at Fox don't want Trump in the race.
I don't know if he is childish, or just a more "real" American. We are used to suave brands that are very polished but are so multi-faceted that they appeal to everybody and really nobody at the same time. People don't want to step on toes because you never know whose money you'll need soon, so you better just appeal to everybody and stay PC.
Is that really that great of a President? Somebody who just panders and panders and panders and never really gets much accomplished because he has pandered so much that he can't move at all?
Why don't people want to call illegals illegals? Have to pander to future voters.
Why don't people want to call out China for currency manipulation? Because they send tons of money into our political system.

He's making them look stupid, so they want him gone and they can go back to bickering about their manufactured wedge issues and who loves Jesus and Israel the most.

After watching the first Gang Tackle of Trump Debate, I've come to realize that selecting the Repub nominee is exactly like dumping ten stinking turds in a toilet bowl and picking the one that floats over the others that sink.
It's akin to watching how the creme de la creme rises to to the top of a bottle of milk except in this particular case what's rising to the top is the creme de la crap.
It looks like that oddly shaped vanilla brownie named Trump is the only one in full flotation mode while the others are looking a bit low at the poop deck.
Or more like.......eh, nm. After awhile they all congeal and turn into a toilet bowl full of diarrhea anyway.
eeewwww.
And he may, and for reasons of his own, I'll never know his perspective, but it wouldn't surprise me if he rides this thing all the way to the end and with many salvos, plot twists, both guns blazing, he's that kind of guy, and he won't appear the worse for it all. He'll be looking out for number one all the way, he's never going to come off as a party man.He left a lot of wiggle room in his response to that question. He could bail at anytime and say it is because he really respects who is selected or is left.

Trump is a winner, he's a businessman/developer and if you want to get a sense of what he accomplished try reading "The Art of the Deal." It comes through clearly. He pretty consistently came in on time and under budget in an arena where nobody else did. What I'm trying to say is that you can't really tell how much of it is Trump's achievement and how much was his starting point and the New York real estate market. With a real business tycoon, it's usually pretty easy to point to the specific brilliant things that they did. Think Jobs and Gates, Jack Welsh... what brilliant thing did Trump do?
This is just hard to imagine. Maybe if sufficient votes are committed by virtue of the primaries.I really hope trump gets nominated for GOP.
It seems someone has a fetish.
Trump is the only one speaking out against political correctness. Clear winner.
But that was Bill Clinton...somebody who you can work with. Democrats have no such person, and have thoroughly abandoned center left politics for the extreme left.
Yea, because it's political correctness that is the #1 problem in America today.
Not the economy
Not wars
Not education
Not the diminishing middle class
Not corporate welfare
Not the constant invasion of citizen's privacy
Not the climate
Not medical and health issues
Not the homeless and hungry
Nope. It's the PC movement that matters most.
Maybe one of the candidates should run on the platform of Starbucks' coffee prices. Or ensuring that toilet paper is oriented correctly.![]()

Muse said:Where do you get that? And where do you get that his father had NY political connections? His father was a fairly modestly successful contractor, a guy who was out there on the jobs, a workaholic as I make out. Donald went out on the jobs with him as a youngster some. What he did in the real estate market in NY was pretty much done on his own. He started with close to nothing. Read "The Art of the Deal."
In 1968 his 22-year-old son Donald Trump joined his company Trump Management Co., becoming president in 1974, and renaming it The Trump Organization in 1980. In the mid-1970s he lent his son money, allowing him to go into the real estate business in Manhattan, while he stuck to Brooklyn and Queens. "It was good for me," he later commented. "You know, being the son of somebody, it could have been competition to me. This way, I got Manhattan all to myself."[6]
You've got to be joking. He inherited tens of millions at minimum. And by no stretch of the imagination was Donald Trump doing much of anything on "his own" that didn't originate from his father. This is verifiable fact. From Fred Trump's Wikipedia page:
Fred Trump also passed way with an inflation-adjusted fortune he created from nothing of over $500 million dollars. No definition of "modestly successful contractor" fits Fred Trump.
