Switching to Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and avoiding GooglePay is easy at least. I had tried Firefox before so no big change there, but this time I changed my default search engine in Firefox and on my phone to DuckDuckGo (Niagara Launcher) as well. Changed my default payment method away from google pay on a few places, like Chewy, the NJTransit app, and a couple other websites.

Not so bad. I say we all do what little we can.
The thing I like about all that is that you probably did it by thinking about how to go about it and paying attention while doing so instead of shouting at clouds and releasing all kinds of harmful chemicals into your blood stream.

Me, if I touch mine it breaks and I go so nuts risk throwing my out the window. Love you.

Go to Google, or Google Maps, and search on the Gulf of Mexico. When it comes back with gulf of amerka, click on the three vertical dots > send feedback > Inaccurate content > incorrect, then enter text that the body of water south of Louisiana is the Gulf of Mexico.

I don't use search engines that take a knee, but I have done this by going to sycophant.com, errr I mean google.com.

DuckDuckGo is my default search engine, Firefox my default browser.
I use Brave browser for youtube videos, and it automatically blocks 99.999% of all youtube ads and bitching about I'm using an ad blocker on YT

Stumbled upon this and it's a great story. And apparently it's a very good alternative to Goodreads, which is owned by Jeff Bezos, one of Donald Trump's billionaire bitches. If you're on Goodreads you can import your data from there as well so just shut that account off and check this shit out boys

FYI This is the last week you can download your kindle books from Amazon in a format where you can easily strip the DRM so you can convert the files to ePub and use them on other devices.

After this week they will be using a newer format where you will not be able to do so. So if you plan to abandon the Kindle platform down the road at all, this is a good time to download your library. Get the Kindle App for PC or MAC and download the books from there.

Just started downloading mine. I would like to be off the kindle platform by this time next year. Maybe I'll conveniently get a Kobo for Christmas I dunno.

Didn't make it to the protest today due to work overload. And from teh photos, the turnout was ok but we need to fill the streets. But we have people like me not showing up and I'm not happy about it.

The resistance needs a leader or a few leaders to step up and rally the troops though. Everything is so fragmented. Like today in the city there were like three different protests at least. We need more organization and coordination.

Don't feel like making a new thread since this title connects, but following is a story of Google "to the rescue." Actually raises some Constitutional issues that are not yet fully defined.

Wired - 3 Teens Almost Got Away With Murder. Then Police Found Their Google Searches

Moral of the story. Don’t use an android device

But you should turn off location services

I do not support the blanket warrant for all people in an area.

But in this case they were nabbed by targeted specific key word searches for a specific time. Which I have less of an issue with
