Wow that's pretty cool. Pretty soon it is going to get to the point where we don't need to actually travel anymore except for the weather.

Because you can find out exactly where a person lives and what their building looks like from the street level, not a top down shot.

You could already do that. It's called an address.

old school thread. I love the one shot of the dude selling drugs out of his drivers side window in one of the street view shots. (NJ IIRC)

Lol, I know this has been out a year, but I'm just shocked to see how they now have every single street in my city mapped out including my house and I lol'd because it's got my neighbor outside watering his lawn.

omg they mapped my house finally. they used to cut off like a highway exit away for satellite views simply because we're almost at the hills, but nice work google. thanks for mapping out your next door city =)
