Google takes stalking to a new level!

I remember this being discussed years ago. I thought Google was going to be taking the pics though. I thought they had vans that would drive around and map everything out.

hows that stalking? its not a real time feed

Because you can find out exactly where a person lives and what their building looks like from the street level, not a top down shot.

uh...if you already have their address, you can do this yourself. And so what if someone knows what your house looks like from the side...anyone can do it easily, with an address.

Look at it this way, would you rather have the stalker in person outside, or looking at a still photograph of your house?

wow, check out that viewing angle...its like someone took a picture in the middle of the street and at all 360degree angles! neat

Yes, but now you can stalk multiple people at the same time with Ctrl + T, no spending money on gas either!

Uh.. Isn't taking pictures of every address in the United States going to be one hell of a monumental task?

Yeah, that's the way it was supposed to be... 3D mapped from ground level.

It is! But if you ever read the history of early map making, you would know that was an even bigger task (and involved danger and deaths). Lewis and Clark are probably one of the more famous ones you might know about.
