well certainly. but the point is to look at the ones registered close to you, see what the offense was (ie, the child predator i posted earlier) and just keep your eyes open. i think the point of mapping sexual offenders is to just one more step to keep you aware of your surrounds. and yes, it doesn't keep you completely safe from attacks like this (such as family members doing the same thing) but it's just one more step to helping you out. take this: if the service didn't exist, then what how would you feel about knowing who your neighbors are?

That's fcked up dude. I dated a 16 yr old when I was 20 for 3.5 years, nothing wrong with that. I guess it depends on what state you live in.

I can understand you feelings and all, BUT what he did was ILLEGAL. he knew it and he took the chance. Now he has to pay the price.

If you don't know why, then you can't have any idea. I know from being beaten myself, and knowing others who were sexually abused as kids, how ****** up it is. Kill em. My mother beat us, and then seperated. Had kids again with someone else, and beat them too. To this day I won't have a single damn thing to do with her, try as she might. There is no such thing as making amends for ****** like that.
