For my area it is same map, a map over 5 years old.

2 advantages so far:
-Obviously the bird's-eye-view pics are closer/clearer
-Pics seem more recent, at least I can tell that the pic of my campus in Philadelphia was taken last winter.
I'm not liking the interface much, though.

It seems like every map program gets my house in the wrong location, my house is 5 houses down from where they claim it is. Also like google the arial is out of date.

Use the 'Locate Me" link and see how accurate it is. I'm at work and it pegged me in Chicago. That's sort of close but we're actually up west of Milwaukee, WI.
