Maybe it will when it's out of beta. That would be a pretty sweet feature.

Dammit... its not working for me. All I get when I try to use it is:

Server Error
The following error occurred:

Code:
Cannot connect due to potential loopback problems

wow, seems like lots of people are jumping on the indexed file searching bandwagon lately. there was a mention of dtsearch and approcket in maximum pc and a review of several searching programs in pcworld.

anyone know how fast this thing indexes large hard drives?

AIM saves the chat conversations?

No, it logs it WHILE you are chatting.

Yeah, Google desktop logs it while you're chatting. This thing is awesome. It'll be obsolete when Longhorn and WinFS come out, but that won't happen for at least a couple years.

ITs sorta built into the DEAD aim client which .. alot of people use. Costs a wopping 5 bucks and gets rid of the adds. ONly trouble is that JD doesnt update enough to keep up with the new versions of AIM. I stick with 5.5xxx and it works great. www.jdennis.net

yes, i have deadaim. but it still should be built in by default. that way i could just use adhack :p pretty nifty this google desktop.. but i don't like the interface... it needs to be streamlined into the OS if that's what it's searchin through
