I use IE 7 because its the industry standard and everything works with it. I've tried firefox and its ok, but its not as easy to use or as intuitive as IE is.

firefox does use less memory though, but is less snappy at least on my work laptop.

no way, firefox is leaps and bounds better than IE as far as ease of use is concerned.

I'm confused, how is FireFox any easier than IE? All I have to do in IE is type an address into a text box and the website shows up? I have multiple tabs with various windows open. So I'm not sure how it could be any easier than that?

I haven't changed from IE because I've found no compelling reason to. IE just simply works on my computers at home and work.

Exactly how I feel. I've tried Firefox (and Mozilla way back when) and Opera. I just never saw the reason to use one over the other.

Chrome is nice for surfing; however some more complex browser actions are difficult for Chrome. I use it on my laptop exclusively because my laptop sucks and it runs better than anything else I have found.

I still use Opera.

Opera is the best but it has problems with a lot of websites despite being the most standards-compliant.

Opera isn't the one with problems, it's just less lenient with poor/shoot yourself markup/styling, 90-esque markup that isn't in quirks mode.

They all show web pages, they all store bookmarks. That's about as far as I get into web browsers. Better things to worry about and all that.

Chrome is fine but at this stage of the game the world does not need another browser. Especially from a company as suspect as Google.

I'm a fan of Chrome. I can't use it for everything I want just yet, but hopefully it'll come around.

I agree 100x

This was a huge issue I kept having with FF, and now with Chrome it's no longer an issue.

My browser preference is:
Chrome
FF
IE

I only use IE for things I absolutely *have* to, like Netflix's watch it now stuff. FF I use sometimes, because it does a lot of things better than Chrome. For everyday browsing though Crome it is.

It wasn't bad when I tried it and seems like it'll get pretty nice as it ages. Still sticking with K-meleon though.

No, its the industry default, i.e. it is installed with Windows.

http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

By the end of this year, FF and IE are going neck and neck, but only if you combine IE 6 and IE 7, which are actually 2 very different browsers.

Wow, are you seriously trying to pass W3school results as some sort of solid proof?? LOL

http://www.informationweek.com...ml?articleID=208802264 (From July, but they use the marketshare information for their data)

Every link I can find from actual news sources show that IE has 69% of the market and that IE only has 20%.

Next time show some actual data and not cherry picking your information to show some skewed results to back up a false truth. You fanboys are freaking retarded.
