I'm using it now with Privoxy, which is a pretty good adblocker.

Adblocking was the one thing that kept me using Firefox.

It probably doesn't let you just right click and click, "Adblock image" and then the entire website it is from etc... All that customization. If it does, I may switch.
 
Firefox.
I've got 26 Add-ons now. I doubt Chrome can do everything Firefox installation can do. 😀

To be honest, I've never had a problem with IE so never saw a reason to switch browsers. I tried Chrome out of curiosity and so far I prefer the layout and the speed.
 
I use IE 7 because its the industry standard and everything works with it. I've tried firefox and its ok, but its not as easy to use or as intuitive as IE is.

firefox does use less memory though, but is less snappy at least on my work laptop.

no way, firefox is leaps and bounds better than IE as far as ease of use is concerned.

I'm confused, how is FireFox any easier than IE? All I have to do in IE is type an address into a text box and the website shows up? I have multiple tabs with various windows open. So I'm not sure how it could be any easier than that?

I haven't changed from IE because I've found no compelling reason to. IE just simply works on my computers at home and work.

Its a personal preference thing. I had my IE hijacked one too many times back in the day. I got used to using FF and I now prefer FF. Some sights require me to use IE or IEtab, its no big deal really.
 
IE is exactly the same as FF at this point. I just use FF because I've used it for so long at this point.

You're completely right. Firefox beats every single browser ever made on earth, in terms of memory usage. And the more add-ons, the more gigs of memory being used, the more sluggish it is.

Webkit rendering engine FTW, followed by Presto. I hope Dragonfly or Drosera become more usable so I no longer have to rely on Firefox for development.

It's not like it was the first "fast" browser. The webkit rendering engine it uses has been used by Safari for years. I guess it's just because it's hitting the mainstream now that people suddenly take notice, and people have been too used to Firefox's sluggish performance that they are blown away by it.
 
Chrome is good, but I'd rather not use a product that Google admits only exists so that they have a say over future browser development.

Yeah, but all the database and plugin software for office use is written for IE, so IE it is.

I do like Chrome and Firefox3 however. I use all three on a regular basis.
