good, now get them to enable push technology in gmail to compete with microsoft live. I hate having to hit the send receive on my phone to get new email.

They do have push technology in Gmail if you're on the Blackberry network.

Pretty sure I replied somewhere in here, and no, 4Gb is not a standard yet. Not even close.

Excuse me while I sell off all of my Google stock.

How the HELL did you get through their interview process?
I concur. I always thought that he was a major dumbass.

Please take no offense, pcslookout.

Of course, no offense intended. ;)

I'm just amazed that someone who:
1. Can't understand credit cards
2. Can't understand Netflix
3. Posts a thread with a title like "Google accepted me for a job offer!"

could possibly be "accepted for a job offer" at Google.

Really. I thought it was tough to get in there.

Read the acceptance letter again. The job offer was from GOGGLE. They're not nearly as popular.

That is because THEY DO NOTHING! ;)

Usually when people say "lol" they're not really laughing out loud. That is stupid. But you, sir, made me laugh out loud.

so how many PCs that come loaded with Vista today have 4 GB of RAM standard?

i still get told by the manufacturers that 2gb is the standard for vista. i get told by friends that use vista that 4gb is what you want if you plan on doing anything with it. i have a laptop with a p3 and 128mb of ram, and while it will run XPPro, it doesnt run it well. if i hook it up to a domain, the network overhead takes up every last bit and gives it the digishits trying to access anything. so, while 128mb is sufficient, it is hardly usable in a real world app. 512 will get ya by tho, if all youre doing is email and data entry.

What I meant by that was, if you were to walk into say Best Buy today, how many of the PCs in there that are loaded with Vista have 4 GB of RAM? If 4GB is the standard, then they the majority of them should have 4 GB.

ah, i see what you mean. i see the systems at frys elec with 2gb and vista all the time, as well as their "serious rigs" with 4gb. i cant tell you what best buy and circuit city have, ive never thought of buying a computer from either one of them, and havent even browsed there.

Hey guys, is there anyway we can track the idiot OP? Maybe trace his IP? I'd love to find out if this guy is a registered sex offender like NSX Nick was!

Not a good idea.

I just wish the OP would come clean and give us an update.
