My Pixel 6 Pro experience has been pretty good overall since launch. Addons: Spigen TPU and Caseology Vault case.
The fingerprint reader works 99% of the time with a TPU protector installed even before that random mid month update. I tried an ebay tempered glass that "works with fingerprint sensor" but it sucked big time. The sensitivity overall was horrible, I turned on high sensitivity and it was just an un-even experience. The FP wouldn't register half the time and I got really annoyed. I ended up returning it and putting on another TPU.
Previously coming from a Pixel 3 (battery sucks) and 11 Pro (battery is excellent), the battery life is good not great for me. I noticed my mobile standby daily is averaging around 20-30% daily and using bluetooth is a high drain. There is no option on AT&T to switch to LTE so I couldn't try it.
Android 12 hasn't been too buggy for me but I had to get used to huge everything, esp the drop down controls. I had to adjust my fonts to small and it helped out a bit. The internet control from the drop down sucks big time, but I see they are tweaking that with the next update. I noticed bluetooth is randomly wonky with calls, sometimes in my car I get the robot effect on the other end of the call and need to hang up and call again.
Camera: Coming directly from a P3, there are some improvements in quality and color accuracy. Since it's a bigger sensor, I had to train myself to shoot differently with closer objects because I was getting the blur outside the main focus. The one downside is it sometimes overprocesses hdr and sharpness so some photos and people sometimes look like cut-outs if you zoom in.
Sometimes this phone gets hot with general use, i'm guessing they need more tweaking with Tensor. I'm patiently awaiting Monday's update to hope smooth out battery life a little bit and overall tweaks here and there. I saw it listed camera improvements, i'm curious to see if they adjusted anything to the processing....
