I'm afraid to ask anything now. ;( Did her improvement in color stay after the real coma set in? Heart rate and pressure still good?

Just hope the surgeon is right, and that we see a mouse avatar pop back up soon.

Wow sorry to hear. 🙁 She is in my prayers. Maybe the coma will actually make it easier to do the surgery somehow, and in the end everything will work itself out. Must be really nerve wracking going through this though.

Hope you are right.

She had surgery no 3 this afternoon. Doc said it went well. He also explained what was different about this surgery and why it should fix the bleeding. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but it sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

She looks like someone who just got out of surgery, but they're happy with her numbers.

Wow. I know they say third time's a charm, but with brain surgery that's got to be excruciating. Hope she comes around soon and can finally get some rest from the miracles of modern medicine.
 
Your mom, you & family are in our thoughts & prayers. Try to rest when you can and take care of yourself, you can't be there if you get run down.
 
Like many here I have shared this space with your mom for years. But I can't say I really know her. To me she is words on a glowing screen. I have often admired those words, and the mind behind them. Her absence is felt, and she has my heartfelt wish for a full recovery.
 
Today's fun (no it wasn't fun) this morning her heart stopped. They got the heart zapper immediately and it started up right away.

Medicare wasn't going to pay for any more time in the CICU because her heart has been decent. But then after her little incident, Medicare changed their mind. The docs want to keep her here because the monitoring and stuff is much better. So, she's awake now. Still in pain and not happy, but awake. Yup, she's in there. She's going to be okay. It'll be a while, but this is her. Hi Mom.
