I had when they introduce or reintroduce cool shit and dont have it at all the locations.
This is common at almost all fast food joints. Ticks me off.
 
Man, you have to know that those limited time dealios are region-specific! Lesson learned, I guess. And hey, the boss knows you were jacking around at least as much as he was - going to lunch at McD's.
 
Ehh, I would not sweat the whole "don't fart around all day". That means he already knew you guys do that, and if he has made no attempt to do something about it, I doubt he will start.

Plus, you're probably kept a few months on your lifespan by not getting that McRib.
 
At least you can take heart in having avoided a McUlcer, a McHeartAttack, or McExplosiveDiaherria.
 
The McRib has been around for decades, I think. It's always just a limited-time offer. Why doesn't McD's make it a permanent part of their menu? It seems popular enough.

Is there a special species of McRib animal that only matures once every two years or so? 😕

Haha, owned. Just do some work that is very readily apparent. IE, finish something instead of just making progress on something else. No one ever notices "progress" unless it means "done."
 
Sounds like the boss was joking when he made that comment. I mean, not really joking, but not like omg the jig is up.

I think most bosses assume that no one works when they aren't around.
 
Hmm, may have to stop by a McDonalds at lunch today. If no mcribs poster in a window, I'll move on over to KFC for some deep fried goodness mixed with some mayo soaked coleslaw goodness.
 
Here's what I don't get, I remember the last 2 times they bought the McRib back they claimed it was the final time you'd ever see it. But here it is again. Also, People seem to like it much more than some crap on the menu. Seeing how it's obviously a popular item why not have it full time? It's the only thing outside of breakfast I like there, yet they don't offer it except once every blue fucking moon.

I'm not a business major, but I think my logic works "sell the McRib all the time and profit!"

I would like to blame 33% of this days downturn on the OP of the McRib thread, 33% on McDonalds NOT having a McRib, 33% on my boss, and 1% on the Bush Administration, but in the end I know it's 100% my fault for assuming that the boss is an idiot and has no clue what we do when he is not there AND for pointing the blame at everyone else but where it belongs....on me....boo hoo.

I swear the mcrib is the worst sandwich ever. But they put crack in it. So what they do is sell it then after everyone remembers how much it sucks, they take it away. Then bring it back next year when the withdrawals kick in.
