Dan Price is a CEO who was pulling a million dollar salary from his company or around that, and decided some years back to raise all his employees to a 70K minimum wage and draw a much lower salary. He tweets a lot about the experience of his company, his employees, what they do with their increased earnings, but mostly about the business atmosphere in this country and this particular thread was pretty intense. I hate this take because it's pretty brain dead. People throw it around like it's the only thing we did, ignoring the huge expansion to UI benefits and food stamps, as well as providing funds for companies to keep people on payrolls (obviously, that latter one had mixed results).

I think his points are really quite fair. You can give corporations tax breaks, bailouts etc and they will still fire people, not raise wages, lower benefits because it benefits the companies bottom line and not the employees.
