I found a cover of "Just What I Needed" or whatever the song is. Can't remember who did it but it rocks.

I've had The Atari's - The Boys of Summer stuck in my head for the last few days...

Hmm....same here. ;) DJ Sammy did a cover of that, BTW..check it out.

Anyway, Hole did a good cover of Garbage's "Stupid Girl," Led Zepplin did a nice one of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water," and...hmmm...I also have a pretty good cover of that same song done by Black Sabbath.

And don't forget Richard Cheese. :D

Luther Right and the Wrongs - The Wall

It's a bluegrass band, and they're covering the entire album. Pretty wild.

I love Concrete Blonde's covers of "Little Wing" "End of the Line" (Ferry/Roxy) and "Beware of Darkness" (George Harrison).

Good site with cover songs/artist info
http://www.coversproject.com/

Cat Power does an excellent Wonderwall. Plays the song the way it should be played IMO.

In fact she has a "covers" album and the "Naked if I wanted" Moby Grape cover rules as well.

Bollweevils did a good "Jenny (867-5309)"
Screeching Weasel did a great "Let the sun shine in" (Pebbles and Bam Bam)

But that Cat Power Wonderwall is the best I can think of off the top of my head.
