They should send in Gordon Ramsay to do an episode of kitchen nightmares. Would be an interesting watch. :p

IIRC there's a video floating around of two employees doing it doggy style on one of the tables, although it might have been a Waffle House. I was expecting something along those lines.

Haha! My wife worked at one when she was in college (Colonie NY area, central ave), and she said it was pretty nasty. They used to run out of hot water and continue washing the dishes in cold water lol.

There were many other unsanitary things she mentioned too, enough to make me never want to eat there.

Is golden corral like a cheaper hometown buffet? Or sameshit?
It used to be better, IMO. IIRC, it was even around a buck or two more PP, but last couple times I went it was pretty much the same thing. I haven't been there in several years though.

I know! What is he smoking? Every restaurant I go to I easily can drop 33 bucks.
Heh, I was just thinking about heading to a restaurant that used to be one of my favorites in the area ("home of the 1 lb lobster tail") - some management/owner changes, and it's not quite as good. But the place down the road from them has 50 cent wing night, so they're trying to one-up them with 35 cent wing night, plus cheap pizza slices. :)

Which brings me to the thought I had related to this thread. When I worked more regularly in the pizza shop, every once in a while, when mixing the wings, or getting them out and into the bowl, one would stick, and fall inadvertently not where I wanted. The customer would end up with 11 wings instead of the dozen, and I'd apologize & give them a dollar back from their order. Apparently, I and my coworkers must be the only ones in the world who have ever dropped a piece of a counted order on the floor. I've never heard of anyone else getting one less of something that they ordered, and an apology for it being short by one (with an explanation of why.)
Two reasons are possible: 1. despite the average person having over a decade of experience cooking those orders, we've been cursed and have hired the only 15 people who would ever drop something. 2. The other places pick it up off the floor & put it back in your order. Hmmmm... which is more likely? In other words, what was seen in the OP of this thread isn't that uncommon. My son worked at a local fast food place & within a week, had plenty of stories of things that we would/will never tolerate where I worked.

I went there a few times but felt out of place without a pastel suite. Where does one purchase a pastel suit?
