...and in two replies we've summarized how America feels about Texas.

do you mean some people like it and others dont?

I believe the meaning is that Miketheidiot's comment reflects the opinion of the vast majority of the country. whereas Maleficus' comment reflects that of those who live in Texas.

Basically, Texans think they're too sexy for our shirts, and everyone else doesn't give a shit.

You're worried about the crime etc in .... Waco? Are you kidding me? We're not talking DC, Philly or Detroit here, we're talking sleepy little Waco. Nothing to worry about, unless you decide to hole up in some crazy relgious compound and take shots at law enforcement officers ;)

Aren't you a gun person? Just murder people to stay safe, just like you've taught yourself.

I hope my tires are still on the rental car at the end of the day. ;)

Pack some velcro nikes and you can walk.

waco is harmless except in the projects/ghetto/crack addict areas...and even there as long as you mind your own business, tell them your just walking home and broke no one will mess with you.. but as long as your there on business and staying near downtown its just like any other mid sized city about like Denton, Texas... lots of people, but mostly just normal people trying to make it through the hell hole texas economy.

Hell hole Texas economy? You must be one of the people that doesn't look at facts. Texas is one of the few states that hasn't really been affected by the down turn in the economy in the US. Most Texas areas actually have not had as bad of a real estate problem, and job growth is still good in Texas.

Even if you had stopped....you could still make the same claim of not seeing much.

Of course you are going to be broke walking in the those areas, you just spent all of your money buying percosets in the projects.

What he said. ^

If you want to go somewhere really dangerous that shows what a cess pool this country is becoming, just go visit our beloved federal government in crime, ghetto and poverty stricken Washington D.C. sometime.
