what to see and where to eat?
Enjoy, subway is $3 one way, stay away from Jane & Finch, and don't give the bums change.
Toronto is not really a tourist city in my opinion. I work downtown (Jarvis & Bloor) and there's not many exciting places near there.
For places to eat, the School Bakery in Liberty Viliage (at Fraser & Liberty St.) has some of the best breakfast fare in the city.
CN Tower and Rogers Centre are obvious places. I'd also check out Kensington Market neighbourhood, China Town, St. Lawrence Market (Jarvis and Front), The Eaton Centre, the Royal Ontario Museum (I think the King Tut exhibit is still on), high fashion Yorkville (Bloor & Bay) the Hockey Hall of Fame, Casa Loma, the Ontario Science Centre (Eglinton & Don Mills) and the theatre district on King West.
There's also lots of nice places outside the city. Make sure to take a visit to cottage country.
