So I'm leaving tomorrow for NYC, and I?ll be there for a week. I?ll have a little time off to see the sites, but what would you all recommend I check out? Any restaurants, stores, sites, etc?

P.S. I?m from Northern MI ? Am I going to die in NY traffic?

Traffic is not that bad as people claim it to be....

lol I'm still laughing about the brookland thing.

ahh well this should be interesting.

We'll be there for a Mission Trip. We were in Chicago last year but I've heard NYC is way huge in comparson.

Subway and buses to get in/out. Most sane people eventually leave the city to settle down as great a place as it is. Commuting in is cake from my area.

If you're taking a van with a trailer, you are asking for death. The cars won't kill you, the people stuck behind you will.

You know that same kids there have "found Jesus" at least once a month because of NYC "Mission Trips" right? Have fun in NYC.

Holy God... make sure you get one with a turbo charger and really good brakes

i went to NYC once late one friday evening... it was 70mph, with at most 1 car-length between cars. Lot's of fast traffic at ~9pm at night... so I can't imagine what that would be like at 5pm.

I thought nyc was amazing. HUGE!

If New Jersey was America's armpit. Then New York City would be the root of the armpit hair

yes it smells that bad here.

*Paid for by the Mayor Quimby for mayor mayoral committee.

Fixed.

Not in order from worse to the extreme worse, but a list:

1. Gangs of New York.
2. Cops of New York.
3. National Security of New York.
4. Mafia of New York.
5. Hitmen of New York.
6. New York Underground - black market, confidential reporting and rave clubs.
7. New York Terrorism - Counter Units, and actualy terrorists.
8. Searches - for drugs, for documentation, and worse of all, the abuse...
9. State patrols, they will pull you over for anything. Anything.
10. Never walk out at night alone. Bad things happen after sun down, worse stuff happens after 11 PM.

11. If you come through Gotham, don't walk into Batman with a cigarette in your mouth.
