Exactly! Stay away from my beautiful NorCal vineyards and redwood trees and lakes and hiking trails and scenic drives and coastlines! I like it rural, just the way it is. :)

There's a reason there's less people in NorCal. I lived in NorCal for 2.5yrs. Have ZERO desire to go back and visit. Also there's more than enough rural down in Socal.

OP since you're going to be staying in DTLA, go eat at The Pantry, Phillipe's, and Canter's. VERY GOOD food at those places that's not too expensive. LA has practically every type of food you could ever imagine since so many different cultures live here.
