Have fun, and don't expect to pick up too many girls there. Most females at clubs are either with a guy or group of friends already, and aren't looking to meet anyone...that's not to say they don't exist, just that they're tougher to find. Be nice, be yourself, and that should go a long way in convincing the girls you do happen to talk to that you aren't a typical club-going guy (read: a$$hat)
The only times I go clubbing now are with a group of friends, as I don't really enjoy dancing with random people. Either way, whether you're alone or with friends, just focus less on what others are going to think, an dmore on your own enjoyment.

hmmm..wrong, most females at clubs ARE looking to meet someone, do you think they just like to listen to distorted loud music and drink overpriced drinks?

but if you have to ask for tips on "clubbing" then you shouldnt go anyway...
im not an old head... but ive been in the scene since 95 and worked as a photographer in clubs from late 99 to 2003....
biggest thing you need to know - dont make a fool of yourself... dont try to b "too cool" and don't get too drunk or too wrecked on pills and puke yourself

Just relax and let the music move you! Don't buy any X...you shouldn't need that to get a high...
Slowly approach another girl dancing, see if she turns towards you to dance along with you, and after the song, ask her for her name and start some friendly conversation. Then see if she'll let you buy her a drink...and go from there.

i have seen this so many times at the quest club in minneapolis its sad. the whole damn bathroom is covered in puke from people that drink to much, eat to much then dance to much.

I seriously heard some doofus go into a surf shop once and ask for a wetsuit to go clubbing (dancing) in. :roll:
And have fun! Get out and dance like nobody is watching. Show some respect for yourself but don't be embarrased to let go a bit.

Actually, not much in the past 6 months...
That "strategy" has been somewhat successful for me, so I'm just speaking from personal experience.

You can save a lot of time and money by just buying a 12 pack of beer and a porno and staying home.
I never got anywhere at clubs, because I can't dance I'm not that attractive and I'm not very smooth. And if I'm not getting any women at the club, I might as well stay the fvck home and drink the beer I bought from the super market. At least it didn't cost $5 a bottle.
Not sure if I'd seriously want to date many of those women that frequent the clubs around here anyway. Some are attractive, but they all seemed like vapid skanks.
But you need to experience it for yourself at least once.
