oh man that blows so badly... if ever any part of my system got jacked, I would have my own little investigation, and I would decide the punishment... there is nothing I hate more than a person jacking someones personal sh!t... :|

that sucks, but i see it all the time. i work on thefts every day. if your gonna put the $$ into a ride. make sure your insurance will cover it!! at least it was a quick poor job. they didn't get your NOS system, or burn the engine out did they?if it was just a break in you got lucky, i've seen entire interiors f'd on one occasion. i feel for ya, it's h*ll to work your tail off for something just to see it beat to h*ll and feel it's beyond your control. jer

If only I had comprehensive insurance....

I have no clue who did it, and it's not like I can keep the car somewhere else, it ws broken into in my assigned parking spot at my apartment complex.

alot of these types of crimes are commited by people that you know, or are acquaintances with... someone that knew you had the car, where you parked, your schedule, etc.

when my house was broken into, it was found to be a kid i grew up with for 6 years before that... when i saw him at the police station i was ready to lunge at him and take his head off, but two cops escorted me in, cuz they knew i would try something, and ill be damned if i wouldnt have........ that phucker got PCs, dvd players, stereo systems..... jesus im fired up just telling this... whatever you do, trust no one when it comes to this sh!t....

Aww sh!t man, what a bitch.... I once had my window smashed in with nothing stolen, and that was annoying enough to ruin my night (had to drive home from work in the winter with freezing air coming in, only to tape it up with a trash bag when I got home, my hands were numb after that). Anyways, though there's a very small chance, I hope you can get a lead on anyone who did this :(

I swear thieves are the worst scum on this planet.

Sorry man, I lost a car because I didn't have comp. insurance either. I'm still paying out the butt for that one since I had to pay for a new car.

Does your stereo have a detach face? I notice they tried to take your speakers too.

No doubt you'll need to get new parts, check out the salvage/junk yards near your place and car-parts.com

I'd hate to say this, but if your parking spot is bad, maybe you should sell your car and get like a crappy volvo or something. Some volvos you can even swap in that 5.0 and SC that you already have. ;)

Supposedly the number one thing stolen from vehicles now adays is air-bags.. Does that car have one? That might have been what they were going for in the steering column.

Sorry to see the damage notfred. :disgust:
Hope you find out who did it, and then beat the crap out of them and then drag them down the strip doing a 9 sec 1/4 mile.

He has a cool volvo. Besides I don't think anyone gives those box volvos a second look. :p

I liked driving the 740 turbo cause people get the f*ck out of my way when they see a 2 ton brick charging WOT. :D:D

That's horrible. :(

My mom's 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was stolen twice, the first time it was parked because it had an electronics problem and they never got off my road. About 6 months later, it was gone for good. I hope they loved a 220,000mi car with a slipping tranny, no heat and a possesed electronics sys. The digital dash would start reading things like 170mph for no reason.:(

Had my car broke into twice. After the first time, I had an alarm installed and got a cd player with a detachable face. That didn't stop them. They broke into it again. Now I have a Kimber 45 and am awaiting the third break-in. :) I have no tolerance for thieves. Steal my sh!t and your life is forfeit. End of story.

Very sorry this happened to you, notfred.
