I thought this was a joke. Upon entering the thread... not so much. I guess it's my fault for reading with 95% more poll as with 95% more funny.

The 10 commandments are highly offensive. When I was in highschool if one of my teachers put one up, I wouldn't have hesitated to rip it off the wall. It is vile crap, that doesn't belong 1000 feet from a place of learning.

I'm an atheist and I think your attitude is offensive.

It's a good thing they don't hang them up in communist countries then.

Which commandment bothers you most?

Move along, nothing to see here.. just another worthless trolling post from DVK916. Why isn't he banned yet?

Should be left up to the children. I'm all for a moment of "silent meditation" in the morning where the kids get to daydream, fidget, and ultimately pray to whatever God they wish. Why in the world anyone thinks everyone in today's schools should be lead in prayer to ONE particular God just boggles my mind.

Same.

I think all religions should be discussed in school. It doesn't matter my personal feelings on it, they're too large a part of the world we live in to ignore and pretend they dont exist. The only catch is that they would all have to be discussed equally, with no preference shown to any one religion & also athiesm & agnosticism would be discussed.

just because god exists doesn't mean he's not a real jerk 😉
Reading the bible should be enough to tell you that. Colossal wanker. The god of christianity is bloodthirsty, genocidal, homicidal, oppressive, misogynistic, hypocritical, vain, insecure...

I saw a TV show with Richard Dawkins the other week where he said a variation of the above FAR better (I've been unable to find the exact quote).
