Can the Colorado Rockies sweep the yankees?

Yankees forgot how to hit up there.
They made Fogg and Francis look like Koufax and Drysdale.
Hopefully the Yanks can remember their hitting ways tonight.
GO YANKS.

I think they (with a few exceptions) forgot how to hit all season up until Clemens joined.

I don't think it had anything to do with Clemens. I think A-Rod's homerun off Papelbon is when they started hitting, also the same time Miguel Cairo started playing first base.
Jeter, Arod and Posada have been hot all season so far.
Are you kidding me? Yeah, so Arod got him once, but the guy has been lights out for 2 seasons, almost unhittable at times. He is intimidating on the mound, you can see guys are not comfortable facing him. He's been one of the elite closers in the game since he's come up.Originally posted by: Gibson486

off topic, but I must be the only bostonian that does not like Papelbon. yes, he throws heat, but that is all he has. That Arod homer just proved it. Why would you throw him a fast ball up in the zone with the game on the line?
From what I've seen in this series, the Rockies can definitely win the West. As you said, they have some good young bats in the lineup and the back end of the bullpen is really good. They're a good team.Originally posted by: raystorm
The Rockies have a fine lineup with some good quality young players. I think they are underrated in the NL West. I am surprised at how dead the Yankee bats were in the series especially they way they mashed my now hapless, garbage Mets.
Good for the Rockies. Maybe they'll make a nice run for the NL West. Why not the Rockies?
fixed. as good and as hungry the rockies are, the nl west belongs to a little team called the san diego padres. 😎 hopefully they can show some of that dominance to the red sox this weekend. should be an interesting series seeing as its both the teams with the best record in their leagues matching up with their best pitching.Originally posted by: ThePresence

That's the only reason I came into this thread. To point that out. Congrats.
