the single worst team to ever be undefeated at this point in the season lost? what a surprise. they should be ranked 30th at best. they'd finish 8th in the big 12. tough game with Wake, huh? are there ever any good ACC football teams other than FSU? and if anyone says Maryland, i'll laugh my ass off. same as NCSU. play shitty teams, win, play a good teram, GET DESTROYED!!! not even close. as good as the ACC is in hoops, it's that bad in football. that's OK, your conference is tough in women's soccer!

Your lack of football knowledge is evident. There are, at best, MAYBE 2 teams in the little 12 that are better than NC State. We'd finish EIGHTH? Right.
The ACC is a tough football conference. They aren't recognized as such, but it is the truth. Look at the OOC schedule each year, and you'll usually find the ACC has one of the better records vs. non-conf. teams. Not to mention that the ACC usually owns the mighty SECheat conference head to head.
The big 12? You mean Oklahoma, a step down to Texas, then a HUGE step down to the rest of the conference? 12 teams and only one team that can actually beat anyone in the top 10?
Whatever. Notre Dame lost today, too....to Boston College. I'm certain that they are no better than Georgia Tech. Was ND overrated also?

Maryland IS a good team. They have only lost to quality teams. FSU beat them when FSU actually had confidense in their gameplay. ND beat them before everyone knew that ND was quality. Maryland is better than you think.

ACC is a good conference except for Clemson(my university), Duke, and North Carolina. All the other teams are quality. Clemson should have been quality but Bowden has ruined the team this year with stupid decisions on players.

Actually....(as an ACC fan) I would have to agree the Big 12 is the best conference in college football this year. The only question is... can either team(Texas or OU) beat Miami?? I think OU has a chance, well, a small chance. But, give some props to maryland, they are a pretty good team and are one FSU loss away from going to the BCS again this year.
